Visit to Naimisharanyam and Inspiration

The man visited Naimisharanyam, a pilgrimage site in Sitapur district of Uttar Pradesh, with his family in 2018. He came to know about the special nature of this place through his guru, Brahma Lakshminarayana Guruswami from Ongole. Guruswami has been continuously organizing Annadanam for Telugu devotees there for the last ten years with the help of devotees.

Idea for building a Sathram

In 2020, Guruswami Garu said that he was facing difficulties in the rented house where he was staying and that he needed to change the furniture, so he thought it would be good to build a hostel (hostel) there on a permanent basis. When he explained this idea to his group of disciples and Ayyappa devotees, they all responded positively and supported the acquisition of land.
Land Acquisition and Donation

Sri. Siddha Venkateswara Rao played a key role in this project. He came forward to donate the entire land required for the inn. A good site, both scientifically and architecturally, was selected by Sri Siddha Venkateswara Rao and the key members together. A society (Registration No. 158/2021) was formed in Ongole in 2021 under the name “Harihara Putra Ayyappa Annadana Maha Kshetra” to register the site.

Construction sequence and current status:-

* Foundation stone laying: The foundation stone laying ceremony was held on August 10, 2022 (Wednesday).
* Contribution: Siddha Venkateswara Rao Garu came forward to provide financial assistance for the construction of the boundary wall as per the wishes of important Guruswamas, while many engineers, Siddhanthus and advocates provided technical advice.
* Current construction: The construction of the two-storey inn has been completed. The first floor has a kitchen, dining hall, office room and store room.
* Idol installation: The idol of Lakshmi Ganapati, donated by Srinivasa Rao from Ongole, has also been installed here.

Currently, the work of tiles and granite is going on at a fast pace. The inn is preparing for the inauguration ceremony on June 17, 2026. On the same day, it has been decided to lay the foundation stone of the main Ayyappa Swamy temple along with nine other temples and steps are being taken forward rapidly.

The committee, with the assistance of the auditor, is moving forward to form a sub-committee named "Ayyappa Nithyanadana Satram" for Annadanam and to seek income tax exemption for the establishment of a corpus fund to continue Annadanam continuously.
